		<description>Cornie, Make sure you mix the baking powder and the flour thoroughly. The dough should be soft and flexible but not elastic. Do not knead the dough too long. Elastic dough will become very tough when baked. You may want to just add a little extra baking powder, or try using cake flour.</description>

There shouldn&#039;t be too much leavening agent either. Otherwise the dough will rise and obliterate the pattern. Check your recipe for the proportions of these ingredients.</description>
